The Good Food Co-op is collaborating again! This time, the ocean, the farm and the ranch unite with our

2ND ANNUAL LOBSTERFEST

Saturday, June 29th

This year, we're putting this together in collaboration with our good friends at Smok'in Hot BBQ and of course, with our favourite East coaster, Dave the Lobster Fisherman. Like last year, Dave will be filling his trailer with fresh, live lobsters and will be driving straight to Smok'in Hot BBQ at the Train Station in Huntsville, where we'll all meet him and get the festivities started!

Everyone who'd like to order LIVE lobsters to take home will pre-order ON-LINE and pick up their lobsters on-site at the Train Station on Saturday, June 29th between 8:00am and 11:00am. The online purchase will be a deposit for the first 1.25lb of each lobster and the difference will be paid WITH CASH at time of pick up. We are doing this because we cannot be sure of exact weights until they are on the scale. Dave is aiming for most lobsters to weigh in at approximately 1.5lb!

We've created 4 different sittings throughout the day: 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm and 6:00pm and we have limited each sitting to 50 customers.

Muskoka North Good Food Co-op and Smok'in Hot BBQ are very proud to be donating $2 from every meal to Food4Kids Muskoka! This charitable organization does amazing work to feed children and bring awareness to a hidden problem in our region. Hundreds of children are reliant on their school's nutrition programs for their daily nutrition needs. On the weekends, these amazing kids do not have access to the school food programs; this is where Food4Kids Muskoka steps in and steps up to pack hundreds of bags full of nourishing food for the children to take home with them for the weekend.
